The role:

We are seeking an experienced and caring head veterinary nurse to support the leadership in our first innovative clinic. Providing and promoting quality care is what you are all about alongside delivering an outstanding experience to our clients, pets and colleagues.

The role is permanent with no OOH.

Your new clinic:

Our first location in Fulham in South West London has been built from the ground up; a large, spacious and light space for the things that matter.

The brand new facilities include digital xray, in house laboratory, ultrasound, dental suite, separate cat and dog wards, bespoke practice management system and dedicated welfare space for you and the team.

About us:

We believe veterinary colleagues, pets, and owners are currently underserved by the status quo. Our new membership approach ensures you have the time and capacity to deliver a new innovative experience and high level of care to our clients and pets.

This belief also extends to you and your veterinary colleagues and we are committed to delivering you support and a working environment like no other.

We are on a mission to create the future of veterinary and pet health care for everyone.

Your experience:

As our head veterinary nurse we expect you to bring a wealth of experience with high levels of clinical care and standards. You will be confident in performing all areas of nursing in a first opinion clinic as well as supporting and growing the skills of your team.

You will enjoy and be comfortable in balancing the operational running of a modern busy veterinary practice, engaging and supporting your team as well as possessing commercial awareness.

Once open, we will be applying for the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme and knowledge of the scheme will be well received although not essential.

Experience in directly leading and managing a team, or a strong acumen for such, will be needed and equally provided to you through our lead veterinary surgeon.

Although not yet a training practice or having student nurses on the team, a willingness or experience in being a clinical coach will be advantageous for the future.

We are looking for nurses who are passionate about delivering first-class clinical care. If you are fed up with routine non-clinical cleaning duties then we are the team for you. We want all our nurses to develop their clinical and schedule 3 surgical skills in a supportive and friendly environment.

Who are we looking for:

Alongside your clinical experience and exemplary team leadership, we are looking for a head veterinary nurse who strongly aligns to our beliefs and values:

We don’t accept the status quo. We can do better
We create space for the things that matter
We believe in continuous improvement
We learn from mistakes in a supportive and blame-free environment.
We deliver the best veterinary experience

We know our industry faces challenges and with the above beliefs at our core, any new member of the team must have a drive and enthusiasm in creating the future of veterinary care. We feel championing and enabling the high skills you and your registered nursing colleagues possess is a must and will want you to promote the same.

You will demonstrate an understanding that we are new and on a mission to deliver an innovative model, with a willingness to help develop and refine our internal processes and approaches.

Being part of an ambitious company, the opportunity for future growth and wider roles will no doubt be available and as a team we embrace being curious and want to hear any ideas you have.
